Set learning goals for yourself

The most important thing in this online course is to help make your meetings and facilitation easier. The most concrete way to make this change is by setting your own goals. We recommend setting goals for this course. Setting goals creates the framework for your success and guides your progress in the way that is best suited for you.

Use the following questions to set your goals for this remote online course.

Consider your goals based on these criteria:

  1. What are your three most important goals for this training?
  2. Are your goals measurable? e.g. fewer meetings, reaching a joint result with your team or achieving more in less time.
  3. Are your goals feasible? Can you achieve these goals? If the answer is yes, your goal is feasible.
  4. What makes your goals meaningful? Studies show that targets are easier to achieve when they are relevant. Think about what the goals mean to you.
  5. **Specify the timeframe in which you want to reach your goal(s).**g. remote facilitation of certain number of workshops over the next 3 months. Without a time frame, you may leave things undone. A good time limit provides support and clarity that helps to achieve the objectives.

You can add your answers to your diary and as a comment below, if you want.

Once you finish, move to the next module to learn the basics of remote facilitation.
